Trancy Silicone Elastomer Family

Trancy silicone elastomer is a three-dimensionally crosslinked dimethicone crosspolymer. With three generations of silicone elastomer technology development and a history of over 46 years, Trancy has developed more than 30 types of silicone elastomers for personal care, existing in the form of elastomer gels, powders, emulsions. They provide a soft and silky smooth skin-feel, a thickening effect, a mattifying effect as well as absorbing sebum. They are more compatible with organics than traditional silicone elastomers and widely used in skin care, hair care, color cosmetic, antiperspirant and sunscreen formulation.

Silicone elastomer gels

A three-dimensionally crosslinked silicone elastomer is swollen by solvent containing cyclomethicone (D5) or low viscosity dimethicone or isododecane, etc. And typical products have CXI-1040、CXI-1041、CXI-1080 and PEG modified self-emulsifying CXI-1040W. Different solvents swell these silicone elastomers to some extent, and this leads to significant differences in the texture and skin feel of the finished product.

Colour

Trancy produces silicone rubber in all colours and can offer a colour matching service if required. We commonly match from Pantone/RAL references or from a provided sample.

Shape

Trancy silicone rubbers are available in square, rectangle, round forms or other custom shape in a variety of sizes. If you have special requirements for custom made silicone rubber, Trancy designs, develops and makes prototypes for your application. This rubber prototype can easily be tested in practice, before producing a large series.

Trancy designs and develops innovative solutions for non-standard custom moulded silicone rubber parts. We offer fast delivery, competitive prices and engineering support. Trancy chemists and engineers are ready to provide our customers with excellent technical and applications support , such as silicone profile design and application testing.

Where you have a design in place, we can manufacture direct from your drawings or existing samples or products using reverse-engineering techniques. For new silicone rubber extrusion designs, our technical sales team will consult with you to gain a thorough understanding of your requirements before we commence the production of extrusion tooling. Once a tool is complete, it will be tested in the factory and fine-tuned until your profile or section meets your specified aesthetic and dimensional criteria. Once we are happy with the product, samples will be formally submitted to you for approval. For prototypes we can sign non disclosure agreements with you to protect your projects.
