High-power thermal conductive gel
Application Background

    Trancy  high-wattage thermal conductive gel is a two-component, addition-cured silicone gel that cures at room temperature. It’s specifically designed for use as a thermal interface material in applications requiring high wattage ratings (6–13W). This gel exhibits excellent wetting properties, allowing for a higher filler loading and enhancing the synergistic effects between different particle sizes of the thermal conductive fillers. As a result, it creates a dense and efficient thermal conduction network, improving both thermal conductivity and heat dissipation. Additionally, it grants the thermal pad good flexibility and durability, thereby enhancing the performance and lifespan of electronic products. It’s ideal for use in creating high-wattage thermal potting gels and pads.

    Depending on mechanical strength and thermal conductivity, Trancy’s high-wattage thermal conductive gels are available in SK series and HK series products.

Product Features and Advantages:

  •  Higher thermal conductivity: The product has low viscosity, excellent wetting properties, and a high filling ratio. These characteristics enable the synergistic effect of the powder particles, thereby increasing thermal conductivity. It is ideal for producing soft thermal conductive gaskets with thermal conductivity ranging from 5 to 13 watts. • Excellent tensile properties: With superior thixotropic properties and strong adhesion, the thermal conductive gasket maintains good tensile strength and flexibility even when using highly filled powders. 
  • Improved heat aging resistance: The low molecular weight content results in a ∑D3–D10 value of <500 ppm. Additionally, its low oil emission rate and excellent aging resistance enhance the stability and reliability of electronic products at high temperatures.
  • Superior resistance to extreme temperatures: The material exhibits excellent resistance to both high and low temperatures. It also has good electrical insulation properties and stable chemical characteristics. Once cured, it can be used in temperatures ranging from -60°C to 250°C.
